1981 The Company is set up by a team of Industrial Engineers, Design Technicians and Installers specialising in executing industrial installations. All the company staff has great experience in executing electrical and pipe installations.The new Company is organised into three divisions:
· Manufacture of Electrical Power and Control Panels.
· High and Low Voltage Electrical Installations.
· Fluids and Special Equipment Installations.
The company carries out its business activities on its premises at C. Concepción Arenal nº 43 – 45, Barcelona, in a building housing the offices, warehouse and workshop.
1982 - 1989 In 1982 the company starts up its design, installation and programming activities for the first Control Panels fitted with Programmable Automata. (Modicon - Texas Instruments 5TI).During this period our High Voltage Installation Protection control panels are homologated by the Catalan electrical companies, and in addition, during the same period, the company starts supplying control panels to those companies (Fecsa - Enher - Hidroelectrica) on a continual basis.
1990 - 1999 At the beginning of the 1990s, the company commences its activity of designing and manufacturing Control Panels for the protection of Generators in Cogeneration systems.Following the extension of our activities, the company moves its offices to its newly-purchases premises at C. Concepción Arenal 53 and its distribution warehouse to C. Concepción Arenal número 51.
2000 - 2008 In the year 2000 the company obtains the Quality System Standard based on UNE-EN-ISO 9001-94, homologating its Quality Control system, which was already implanted in the company with number 391/ER/04/00. In 2003, the company’s processes are adapted to the UNE-EN-ISO 9001-2000 standard, and it obtains at new Certificate issued by the company Bureau Veritas.
2008 SimsaGroup is put into operation through the incorporation of new shareholders, for the purpose of adapting to modern times and the present needs of its clients.
